Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on October 11, commenced the transfer of social security pension payments worth Rs 213.41 crore to over 35.56 lakh beneficiaries and also opened the doors of a Sandipani School in Narsinghpur district.

As part of the programme, Mohan Yadav planted a sapling on the campus of the school and flagged off the school bus service. He also released certificates of property rights for those who were beneficiaries of the Centre’s scheme called SVAMITVA and started or laid the Foundation stones of various development projects in the district. The Sandipani School has costed over ₹42 crore.

The Chief Minister paid tribute to the senior citizens by offering them flowers and clothes, and taking their blessings. He assured the state government to enhance educational facilities and bridge the opportunities of future generations.

Quoting the friendship story between Lord Krishna and Sudama, which is commonly linked to the ashram of Sage Sandipani, Yadav mentions that the initiative of Sandipani school in the Ashram is similar to that of the friendship between Lord Krishna and Sudama. He said that people’s education, friendship and assisting others were significant. He also put on the highlight the efforts of the government to strengthen basic infrastructure, roads, electricity, water supply, and education.

In his speech, Yadav hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and spoke about developments initiatives of the Centre. He mentioned the financial support schemes for farmers, Ladli Behna beneficiaries, financial support for women farmers and education support for students such as the PM-KISAN scheme.

The Chief Minister also expressed his anger with the opposition parties regarding the Chief Election Commissioner’s (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar and Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. He said that protesting the Election Commission shouldn’t cause an epidemic. He criticised the Congress leadership and its performance in elections, in his remarks.

Yadav also emphasized India’s efforts towards becoming a developed nation by 2047 and looked at India’s expansion in the mobility industry, as well as its sporting success. According to him, Madhya Pradesh athletes have secured 11 medals, five of which were gold, in the 2026 Asian Games.

This programme related to disbursal of pensions, establishment of education facilities and launching of other local projects.
