During his visit to Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was uncharacteristically seen visiting a local shop and savoring a glass of cold lassi.
On Saturday morning, images of the Chief Minister’s visit started making the rounds of social media accompanied by a video. Chances are high that security protocols escorted with his visit were not in place, and suddenly he began to interact with those who had gathered in the local lassi shop.
The chief minister tried this lassi and is said to have expressed delight over the taste of the lassi. The shopkeeper, at first, did not accept the money when he wanted to pay the money to the shopkeeper. But Yadav demanded to pay for the punch before exiting from the store. This casual encounter rapidly evolved into a topic of local discussion, and even raised questions among people in the area whether the Chief Minister’s easy and friendly style makes her a good chief.It was soon a talking point among residents as many were amazed at her easy and approachable style.
When Yadav arrived, a majority of the citizens was congregated on the premises. He got to know the residents of the area and of small businesses there and the problems which affected that area. Yadav also called for a push towards showcasing the local traditional values and products of Tikamgarh while interacting. He is asking for their support in promoting the heritage and traditional products of the area.
The Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also mentioned his appreciation of the rich culinary heritage of the Bundelkhand region, noting the significance of the area’s traditional cuisine and local businesses. Since then, the viral shots of Yadav tasting the lassi has become a talking point on social media and the footage depicts a more relatable, personal character of the Chief Minister during his visit to Tikamgarh.
