Khargone: Today, the BJP national president JP Nadda is scheduled to visit Madhya Pradesh, where he will embark on the party’s inaugural election roadshow. One of the key events on his itinerary is attending the state-level self-employment day program in Khargone. Additionally, a women’s conference and a ceremony for the distribution of residential land rights certificates will take place in Khargone, with the presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

During the program, landowners will receive legal documentation affirming their property rights. A total of 423 beneficiaries will be granted residential land rights, while the TB Free India campaign will involve the distribution of nutritious food and certificates to individuals affected by sickle cell anemia. Notably, this marks the first instance in the state where a significant number of landowners in a district will receive official records of their property rights, encompassing 108,220 ownership schemes. Moreover, JP Nadda will inaugurate development projects worth Rs 104.01 crore and lay the foundation stone for others.

JP Nadda’s detailed schedule for the day is as follows: he will arrive at Barud helipad at 11:30 am and receive a warm welcome. Starting from 11:50 am, a roadshow will be conducted from Rahimpura square to the Navagraha temple. At noon, he will visit the Navagraha temple and proceed to the venue for a meal and discussions with party leaders. The program will officially commence at 1 pm, and at 2:50 pm, he will depart for the helipad.

In contrast, the Congress party has organized a protest against the escalating inflation. This demonstration is set to take place at 12 noon at the Roshanpura intersection. The Mahila Congress, the women’s wing of the party, will specifically protest against the rising prices of essential commodities such as tomatoes, ginger, coriander, and other vegetables, which have surged following recent rainfall.
