Ratlam: In Ratlam district’s village Rattagarhkheda, a farmer died tragically when explosive dynamite exploded while starting the motor to irrigate the field. The dead body of the farmer got mutilated; the body got fragmented and fell far and wide. Villagers have expressed apprehension of murder. The case is of Rattagarhkheda, 30 km from the district headquarters.
Where in the morning, 33-year-old Lal Singh son Narsingh, a farmer who went to irrigate the field, died due to a tote burst. Lal Singh started the motor during which there was an explosion and he died a painful death on the spot. The place of the explosion was a deep crater. An unknown person had put the totes to be used for digging the land under the starter of the irrigation motor. The police are investigating the matter further.
A similar incident has happened 6 months ago in Rattagarhkheda village where the sarpanch had narrowly survived before the tote used to deepen the well in the same way exploded. The incident took place just 500 meters away from the spot that happened on Tuesday. Former Sarpanch Bhanwarlal Dodiya started the motor to irrigate his farm, where the tote exploded, in which he was badly injured.
Anger among villagers says that the incident has been done for the purpose of killing. He has warned that if those who use the tote are not caught soon, then there will be an investigation and the right action would be taken against the accused.
