Bhopal: As a part of pursuing the Ladli Behen Scheme, the series of distribution of gratitude and gifts to the subsequent beneficiaries of the respective scheme are planned to be organized before Raksha Bandhan by the Government of Madhya Pradesh under the guidance of the honourable Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav. The programs based on the Raksha Bandhan Festival and Sawan Festival will be conducted for selected districts from August 1, 2024, to August 17, 2024. Among them, 11 districts are selected, namely Singrauli (Chitrangi), Satna, Damoh (Jabera), Narsinghpur, Balaghat, Mandla, Betul (Bhainsdehi), Shivpuri, Tikamgarh, Anuppur and Dindori.

On these occasions, messages of thanks and gifts are handed over to the beneficiary women through the CM himself, particularly Dr. Yadav. Also, following the cultural norms, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will also perform Raksha Bandhan dancing and will string rakhi on the Ladli sisters and talk to them. They are meant to pay respect to women and ensure that there is togetherness, which is rooted in culture and traditions.

Sawan festival special programs which will be organised soon are the Raksha Bandhan special programs where the Ladli sisters will be provided mechanical swings and the tree plantation taking place under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (One Tree in Mother’s Name) would session. The local cultural programs will also be included in the celebration of festivals as a means of presenting the regions’ cultural histories.

In a similar manner to what was mentioned, ministers and local representatives will arrange similar events for districts not covered by the main program. They are meant to promote the feeling of oneness and value among the beneficiaries, as well as drumming up Culturally festive occasions.

The series of events shows that the government takes the recognition and payment for the service of the deserved beneficiaries of the Ladli Behen scheme through their appreciation and integration of their value in society along with the celebration of their role created in the cultural upbringing of the state of Jharkhand.
