Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has recruited Brij Gopal Loya as the new State media in-charge. The appointment was done with the approval of the state BJP president Hemant Khandelwal who will take care of the co-ordination and media work of the party in the state.
The post was empty since the former in-charge of state media Ashish Agarwal was handed a new task in the BJP’s command. Brij Gopal Loya has also served as a State co-media in-charge and a spokesperson of the Madhya Pradesh BJP in the past, which means he has been aware of the party’s functioning and organisation.
From Udaipura, Raisen district, Loya has been involved with the BJP since 1991 and has served the organisation in many capacities over the years. The information he submitted as part of the complaint, reveals he has collaborated with the party since 1996 and has served in various capacities related to its electoral campaigns since 2003 up to today.
He has held the following posts: 2008 Assembly election media responsibilities, a member of the Lok Sabha election management committee, 2009 and also media management during 2023 Assembly election. He also managed the media assignments in the Lok Sabha election in Morena in 2024 and the Vijaypur Assembly by-election also in 2024.
Loya has been a BJP media panelist since 2017 and he has allegedly spoken in over 2000 TV debates for the BJP. He was the State spokesperson for the Madhya Pradesh BJP from 2023 to 2026.
There was a large gathering of BJP-labor and BJP supporters in Udaipura, and they greeted the news happily and congratulated Murali. As the state’s representative in media, Loya will coordinate the media activities and pass on the party’s official line on organisational and political issues to the media.
