CM Rekha Gupta Inspected Delhi Metro Phase-4 Project: Delhi CM Rekha Gupta inspected Delhi Metro Phase-4. The Delhi Chief Minister made a surprise inspection of the ongoing construction work at RK Ashram Marg Metro Station. During this, she reviewed the project’s progress with officials of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and issued instructions to ensure quality, safety, and strict adherence to timelines. She expressed confidence that the completion of this project will provide fast, safe and convenient travel to the people of Delhi and it will prove to be a big step towards developed Delhi. RK Ashram Marg station will be the main interchange hub of Blue and Magenta Line.

During the inspection, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the RK Ashram Marg station is being developed as a major interchange hub, providing connectivity between the Blue Line and the Magenta Line. The station is a key part of the 28.92-kilometer Line 8 corridor, stretching from Janakpuri West to RK Ashram Marg.

He stated that under Phase 4, sections from Janakpuri West to Krishna Park Extension and Deepali Chowk to Majlis Park have already been commissioned, while work on the remaining sections is progressing rapidly. This corridor will connect densely populated areas of West, North, and Central Delhi, reducing travel time, traffic congestion, and pollution. He also stated that despite difficult geological conditions, construction is being carried out using state-of-the-art technology and safety standards, resulting in no impact on surface traffic or other services.
