Dhamtari: A tragic accident took place on Nagari Sihawa Road, in the district. There was a collision between a school bus and a truck resulting in injuries to children and the bus driver. All those who were hurt have been taken to the hospital for treatment. As soon as they received information about the incident the police quickly arrived at the scene and started investigating. The case falls under the jurisdiction of the police station.
According to information this morning around 8 am a school bus from Vidya Kunj School was carrying students from town, towards Nagari Sihawa Road. At the time a speeding truck tried to overtake from the side. In doing so both vehicles collided. Following the accident several children and the bus driver were injured.
Local residents promptly came to help at the scene of the accident and arranged transportation of those injured to receive medical care at the hospital. Currently all those injured are being treated at the district hospital. Their conditions are reported as stable.
