Raipur: In a move against outbreak of novel coronavirus pandemic, Chhattisgarh government on Monday has ordered to shut down all its bars, restaurants, hotels and clubs will also be closed from June 22 to 28 this year.

The commercial tax (excise department) of Chhattisgarh government on Monday order issued to the all district collectors of the state stating all the clubs, restaurants, hotels and bars will be closed from June 22 to June 28, 2020 under the provisions of state’s excise act.

Earlier, the state government had ordered the excise department to remain close all the clubs, restaurants, hotels and bars till June 21, 2020.

Chhattisgarh state has witnessed novel Corona virus infected count to 2255 on Sunday, which includes 823 active cases besides recovery of 1421 persons from the COVID-19. Besides this, three persons have died of COVID-19 disease while eight others were dead due to associated comorbidities.
