Raipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently arrived in the Raipur district of Chhattisgarh along with Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. The warm welcome included a special gift presented by CM Baghel to PM Modi. The arrival ceremony took place at Raipur airport, where former Chief Minister and BJP leader Dr. Raman Singh also joined the dignitaries.
Throughout his visit Prime Minister Modi will have the honor of inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for numerous projects worth vast sums of money. He will also address the public and engage in various official activities. Additionally, from Gorakhpur railway station, PM Modi will flag off two Vande Bharat trains, marking another significant milestone. Over the course of July 7 and 8, PM Modi will visit four states.
However, amidst these developments, a tragic incident occurred as a bus carrying people to PM Modi’s rally overturned, resulting in the loss of three lives. Six individuals sustained serious injuries, while others suffered minor injuries, as the bus collided with a truck in Bilaspur. In response to this unfortunate event, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh for the families of the deceased.
