Raipur: A massive drug pedalling racket being operated by pan India was busted by Raipur Police, officials said. The police have arrested 9 so far with 2 amongst them being the main accused.

The arrested accused identified as Kamlesh Yadav and Sagar Modi were reportedly nabbed from West Bengal and Gaya, Bihar. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided and arrested 7 more involved in delivering the consignment. According to reports, a huge quantity of narcotic injections was recovered from the smugglers.

The other accused nabbed by the narcotics cell have been identified as Arnav Majumdar who used to operate from Jagannath Puri and was supplied drugs illicitly from Tapas and Sameer who had a network in Chhattisgarh, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh.

So far, no details on the case have been revealed. The Narcotics Cell Raipur has initiated its probe and is tracking down groups involved in the nation-wide smuggling.
