Orissa: In a joint operation launched by the police of Raipur and Orissa, absconding Ravi Sahu main culprit involved in the murder of Virendra Markandeya alias Lalla on September 5th was nabbed from Navapara, Orissa. The SSP Prashant has announced a reward of Rs 20,000 for the absconding murderer.
The Cyber cell and Anticrime dept of Raipur had actively been tracking Sahu was eloped after the murder at his restaurant. Lalla was kidnapped from his home and brought to RS Hotel by 5-6 unknown men. Accused Sahu and Lalla engaged in a heated argument over black money settlements, after which the accused along with his associates stabbed Sahu repeatedly and ran away.
On being taken to the nearby hospital Lalla was declared dead on arrival and was sent for post mortem following which a case was lodged against unknown assailants.
