Lockdown 3.0: Chhattisgarh has decided to impose complete lockdown on every Saturday and Sunday in May

RAIPUR: In view of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak worldwide, the governments of Chhattisgarh have ordered for complete lockdown on every Saturday and Sundays of this month. This weekly 2-day lockdown will impose in throughout the states.

Finally, Chhattisgarh  CM Bhupesh baghel has agreed to the suggestion of the state Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu of imposing lockdown for 2 days in a week in order to control the pandemic situation.

In his suggestion, the home minister has suggested for complete lockdown on every weekend in the month of May. However, Chief Minister Baghel has permitted to continue the essential services including vegetables, milk and medicine in this lockdown weekends. This important and crucial step has been taken by the state government in order to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
