KARWADHA: A fire broke out last night in Karwadha after an LPG cylinder exploded. As per reports, an LPG cylinder kept in the police help center of the Karwadha bus stand burst Tuesday night, setting ablaze the room and tossing the roof made of metal sheets.
There has been no loss of lives reported so far. Emergency teams including fire tenders and policemen immediately arrived at the spot to take control of the situation.
It is learned that the room at the bus stop was set up as a help center for passengers which over time was shut down and used as a store room by the hawkers at the stop. Like every night, the hawker kept his stuff along with the cylinder and left the station.
So far no details on how the blast took place have been released. Senior Officials have initiated a probe into the incident.
