Raipur: In Chhattisgarh, the cases of coronavirus is on continuous rise. According to the health bulletin issued late last night, 378 new coronavirus patients have been identified while 10 people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours.

Apart from this, on Friday, 231 patients were discharged after recovering. Maximum cases has been recorded from Raipur with 154.

The recovery rate of Chhattisgarh is higher than that of whole India, stands at 72.9% currently. 8319 people have been discharged after recovering so far.

On Friday, Chhattisgarh conducted 7,176 tests in the last 24 hours – highest so far. The cumulative sample tests conducted in the state has jumped to 3,59,857 so far.

With this, in Chhattisgarh, a total of 11,408 patients have been exposed to the virus so far. Out of which 8,319 have been discharged after recovery. The number of active patients in the state is over 3,000. Meanwhile, the death toll has reached to 87.
