Raipur: A security personnel posted in Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel official residence in the state capital, on Friday tested positive for novel Coronavirus infection.

As per the preliminary information provided by the reliable sources, the security personnel who detected COVID-19 positive, have posted at the main gate of the CM house.  

After getting the information about the security personnel, now the security has been increased in the Chief Minister’s residence in view of the corona virus infection. The people, who might have come in contact are being identified. Besides this, the disinfectants have been sprayed inside the chief minister’s residence as a precautionary measure.

Notable, more than 50 cases of Coronavirus have been reported daily over the last 15 days in Chhattisgarh. There were 1946 COVID-19 positive reported in the state till Thursday. At the same time, there are 735 active Corona positive cases and 1202 persons have been discharged so far. As many nine people have died in Chhattisgarh due to a novel Coronavirus infection.
