Chhattisgarh: After a steep slope of coronavirus cases in Chhattisgarh, On Wednesday, the state reported as many as 12 new cases. On a positive side, Chhattisgarh saw a surge in recovery with 74 people cured in the last 24 hours.
Among the fresh 12 COVID-19 cases, five cases emerged from Janjgir-Champa, three each from Raigarh and Raipur and one from Korba district in the state.
As per the data provided by the state health department, Chhattisgarh count of COVID-19 surpassed 2400 mark with reporting 2419 cases.
At present, the active cases in the state stands at 806, as 1601 people have been discharged after recovery while 12 others have died in the state so far.
