Raipur: Chattisgarh Government is planning to evacuate children who are trapped in Kota, Rajasthan. The exercise to bring students back to Chhattisgarh has started and buses are being sent by the government to bring them back. The Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel, has shared this information through Twitter.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel tweeted “due to the lockdown, bus is being sent to bring the students trapped in Kota of Rajasthan to Chhattisgarh. Students will be brought to Chhattisgarh soon.”

State government had also instructed collectors of all districts to work on the number and location of the children. Preparations have begun to bring the children back.

Around 18,000 students from five states and union territories have gone to their respective homes which includes 12,500 in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, 2800 in Madhya Pradesh, 350 in Gujarat and 50 children of Dadra-Nagar Haveli.

Apart from this, 1000 children from Haryana, 400 from Assam and 1500 children from different districts of Rajasthan will leave for their homes on Friday.
