Raipur: As many as 53 new cases emerged from Chhattisgarh on Tuesday said the officials. With this, the total tally in the state crossed the bleak milestone of 2800.
Of these 53, 49 cases are discovered from the Capital city ‘Raipur’ , 1 each from Durg, Rajnandgaon, Behemetara & Balodabazar.
As per the data provided by the state health department, Chhattisgarh count of COVID-19 surpassed 2800 mark with reporting 2848 cases.
At present, the active cases in the state stands at 685, as 2150 people have been discharged after recovery while 13 others have died in the state so far.
Chhattisgarh’s Covid-19 figures are as follows:
- Total positive cases: 2848,
- New cases: 53,
- Deaths: 13,
- Discharged: 2150,
- Active cases: 685,
- People tested so far: 1,56,386.
