Raipur: As many as 9 new cases of novel coronavirus has emerged from Chhattisgarh’s Capital ‘Raipur’ on Wednesday. With this, the total number of cases in the district has now crossed 500 mark.
According to the State health department, among the 9 new cases, One case is from Simran City Mathpurana , 2 employees of private hotel came positive of covid19, One each case reported from Phool Chowk in Birgaon, Abhanpur Bendri and Shreenagar while three others are not yet known.
In Chhattisgarh’s Capital, a total of 501 infected patients have been found so far, out of which 233 people have recovered from the virus. There are 268 active cases in Raipur. 2 people have succumbed to the disease.
Chhattisgarh’s tally as follows:

- Total Discharged: 2,728
