Raipur: In the latest update by the AIIMS Raipur, a new COVID-19 positive case has been reported from the capital. Taking the total tally of confirmed cases to 58 in the state

A 24 year old male youth is said to be from one of the densest area of Chhattisgarh, near Saraswati Nagar Police Station, Raipur. The patient does not have any travel history but he got tested on having some symptoms. However, he had not self-quarantined himself before but has been admitted to the hospital soon after the reports came out.

AIIMS Raipur has taken to their twitter handle to confirm the news ” New COVID 19 positive male (24 years) patient has been found in Raipur on Monday. He will be admitted in AIIMS shortly. #IndiaFightsCorona” they twitted.

Meanwhile, trouble for Chhattisgarh has substantially increased, which was consistently performing well as compared to the rest of the country. With the new case found, the total count of confirmed cases in the State has gone up to 58 with 22 active cases.

Korba district in the state has reported 28 cases, the highest in the state. Durg has detected 9 cases while Raipur has reached 7 cases. There are 6 cases from Surajpur & Kawardha each, whereas Bilaspur and rajnandgaon district has joined the list with 1 case each.

With the relaxations amid the third phase of lockdown, huge crowds on liquor shops violating the guidelines indicates a worse scenario coming up if not controlled & managed properly by the state authorities.
