Chhattisgarh: The total number of coronavirus cases in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday crossed the 100-mark, with 5 fresh cases being reported in a day. This surge the number of active cases to 41 in the state. Out of the 100 cases, 59 have recovered so far and none have passed away.
While four cases are reported from Rajnandgaon district, another case is reported from korba district, AIIMS confirmed.

According to the sources, Of the 41 active cases, 20 are undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Raipur, six at COVID hospital Mana Raipur, five at COVID hospital Bilaspur and two at Medical College Hospital Ambikapur. These 5 new cases will be admitted to AIIMS, Raipur Shortly.
Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh’s 100 cases put it at number 22 in terms of number of cases among all states and union territories in India. Within the country, Maharashtra continues to be the most affected state in the country.
