Chhattisgarh: As many as 63 more people, including tested positive for coronavirus in Chhattisgarh, taking the state’s COVID-19 tally to 836, a health official said on Friday.
Of the 63 new cases, 40 are reported from Korba district, 13 from Raigarh, Three each from Raipur & Balodabazar, two from Rajnandgaon districts while one case each came from Korea and Balrampur .
State Health Department took to their twitter handle to inform “Just now 63 new Corona positive patients have been identified. 40 from Korba, 13 from Raigad, 3-3 from Balodabazar and Raipur, 2 from Rajnandgaon and 1-1 from Korea and Balrampur.”
Most of the new patients are migrant laborers, who recently returned to their home districts from different parts of the country and were kept in quarantine centers or those who came in their contact, According to the state health department report.
The number of corona infected in the state has jumped to 836 including the 628 active cases and 206 people have recovered from the disease. While 2 people have succumbed to the virus so far.
