Chhattisgarh: The Covid-19 tally in Chhattisgarh witnessed the addition of 32 more cases raising the total tally of confirmed cases in the state to 447, said the health department on Saturday (30 May).

Of the fresh cases, 20 are said to be found in the Korea district, 6 patients are from Balrampur, 4 registered from Kanker and 2 from Raipur district, all the poeple are the migrant workers who had recently returned to the State from various parts of the country and were in different quarantine centres across districts. On the brighter side, 2 patients have been discharged from AIIMS, Raipur.

Health Department of Chhattisgarh took to their twitter handle to announce medical bulletin ” Today a total of 32 new Corona positive patients were identified. At the same time, 2 patients were discharged after getting healthy. The number of total active patients is 344.”

The number of active cases in the state now stood at 344 while 103 persons have recovered while one person have died so far.

80 patients are admitted in AIIMS Raipur, 91 patients are considered in Kovid Hospital, 50 patients in Kovid Hospital Bilaspur, 24 in Medical College Hospital Ambikapur and 27 in Medical College Raigad, 35 in Medical College Rajnandgaon, 5 patients are admitted in Medical College Jagdalpur.

Meanwhile, India has recorded the highest one day surge with nearly 8000 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours. With this, the country has more than 1,73,000 confirmed cases and stood at 9th position in the list of worst hit countries in the world.
