The eagerly awaited series of iPhone 18 Pro has finally gone on sale in India, with long queues building outside of Apple stores all over the country, as users rush to secure their hands on the new set.

Currently, Apple is offering the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in its e-store and six retail shops in India. The launch has seduced customers to show up inside of hours before 10 a.m. some of whom dubbed it the annual iPhone launch festival.

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max come in black, silver, glacier and the new “burgundy” colour. The new Pro models have a 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture and new Pro camera controls. Running on Apple’s new A20 Pro chip, they feature a new vapour chamber for enhanced performance, AI features and battery life.

One customer at the Maharashtra store who got the first mobile phone had nothing but excitement after waiting in the queue for 10 to 12 hours.

Meanwhile, Awangale says he was able to make it to the store around 5 am and was greeted by locals from Haryana, Delhi and Mumbai. He bought his phones since the iPhone 7 and called this annual event “festival”, adding he always attempt to get new iPhone every year.

Another customer stated he had to wait from 6 am to end to finally buy his first iPhone 18 Pro Max in Noida. The shots capture the ongoing frenzy for Apple’s latest smartphone in the Indian market.
