Bhilai: A CISF Jawan has died in a road accident, a police official said. Reportedly, the Jawan was heading home after completing his exam for food inspector. The incident took place near the Civic Chowk Police Petrol Pump. The Jawan’s two-wheeler collided with a tree and was injured. He was declared dead at the Sector-9 Hospital where he was taken for medical assistance.
The Jawan identified as Rajdeep Singh, a resident of Ward 50 Sector 2 Road 14, was employed as a fireman in CISF in Haryana and had arrived in Bhilai for an examination. Jawan Rajdeep was earlier posted in Hyderabad, sources said.
An investigation is being held to determine the cause of the accident; sources added.
