The second day of the monsoon session commenced over a dialogue on employment issues at the state owned universities. The discussion commenced after a fellow member of INC Kismat Lal Nand demanded an insight into the matter. 

To this the Technical Education and Employment Minister Umesh Patel informed that the recruitment in 1384 posts is under process. “There are a total of 3972 vacancies in the 253 state owned universities. Once the recruitment process is completed, the appointments would be made”, he said.

In another conversation raised by Devendra Yadav over recruitment of training officers at Industrial Training Institutes, the Technical Education and Employment Minister stated that the appointment of the training officers in the Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) are being carried out generically and not according to reservations. 

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel shared a tweet in remembrance of ex-President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam. In his tweet, CM said that Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was a great scientist, missile-man, and an inspiration for many. It was the knowledge shared by Dr. Kalam that brought India recognition globally in the field of science.  

The monsoon session of Chhattisgarh Legislative assembly saw a huge ruckus as the opposition issued deadly attack on Congress MLA Brihaspat Singh.  Amidst the ruckus, the house was adjourned several times on its first day.
