Raipur: With the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly elections approaching, political parties are ramping up their campaign efforts by organizing rallies and roadshows, in constituencies. Today Mallikarjun Kharge, the National President of the Congress party and a prominent campaigner, will be visiting the Koriya district. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will be focusing on Mahasamund and Raipur constituencies, actively canvassing for Congress candidates alongside Kharge.
Kharge is expected to arrive at Raipur Airport at 11:50 AM. He will then deliver a rally in Baikunthpur at 1:00 PM, followed by another rally in Katghora at 3:00 PM. Finally, he will depart for Delhi from Raipur at 5:10 PM.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s campaign will take place in Mahasamund and Raipur. During his tour, Baghel plans to address five rallies.
His schedule includes leaving Raipur for Mahasamund at 11:30 AM. At 12:15 PM, he will speak at a rally in SaraiPali before moving on to Basna for another rally at 1:25 PM. Baghel will then address a gathering in Bagbahara at 2:50 PM. Conclude his day with an address in Arang, at 4:05 PM. In the evening, there is also a planned rally scheduled to start at 8:00 PM in Raipur.
With the election excitement growing, politicians are actively connecting with the public sharing their party’s goals, and seeking backing, for their candidates. These campaign endeavors hold importance as Chhattisgarh approaches the phase of Assembly elections with different areas preparing to cast their votes. The outcome of these elections will play a pivotal role in shaping the state’s political landscape in the coming years.
