The monsoon session of Chhattisgarh Assembly will begin on July 13th and run through July17th. The Assembly secretariat chalked out the schedule for the monsoon session of the state legislature. The first four days of the session will hold key business delegations while the last day will look into nonbusiness matters like question and answers.

The 5 days long session is expected to be a stormy affair, with opposition gearing up to corner the ruling party. Among the key discussions, the session will focus on financial matters and government projects.

Meanwhile, the opposition parties are gearing up to press the government on several issues including debates on rising liquor prices, deforestation in Hasdeo, law and order maintenance amongst a few. The opposition is also expected to attack the government on agricultural concerns and municipal issues.
