Berla: A massive fire broke out in Kusmi Shushant Poultry Farm on Tuesday evening, causing crores of rupees in damage. The fire brigade team was reportedly informed of the fire but did not arrive at the scene. The entire incident took place in village Kusmi of Berla police station area.
In another incident, a massive fire broke out in a shop in Gram Panchayat Sanawar of Balrampur district due to a cylinder blast. Two people were caught in the fire and injured. The injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The cause of the fire at the Poultry Farm is still under investigation. However, the fire brigade team’s failure to arrive at the scene despite being informed is a cause for concern. The incident highlights the need for better fire safety measures in the area.
The cylinder blast in Balrampur district is also a reminder of the importance of safety precautions when dealing with gas cylinders. The two people who were injured in the fire are reportedly in stable condition.
