Bijapur, Chhattisgarh: The information about the encounter between the security force personnel and the Naxalites has come to the fore in the Bijapur area of Chhattisgarh. It is being told that three Naxalites have been killed by the soldiers in the encounter. Giving the information, Bijapur SP Anjaneya Varshney said that this encounter took place in the Pomara forests of the Mirtur police station area.
At the same time, there are also reports that weapons have been recovered from the spot. According to the information, the killed Naxalites have not been identified. Late last evening, the security forces personnel had gone out on an anti-Naxal operation. At the same time, there was an encounter with CRPF, DRG, and STF personnel at around 8 am today.
The presence of DVCM Mohan Kadti, DVCM Sumitra, Matwara LOS Commander Ramesh, and 30-40 Maoists was reported in Pomara forests under the Mirtur police station. The security forces took major action and at around 7.30 am upon finding this! The police conducted a search operation in the forests of Pomara.
At present, the search operation is still going on. This success has been achieved due to the joint action of DRG, STF, and the Keripu force. Such Naxal attacks have become common in the state. But the police personnel are working hard to keep them in control.
