Allegations of illegal construction have been leveled against Congress councillor’s husband. The entire incident pertains to Zone 7 of the municipal corporation.
Zone Commissioner Babra stated that today, a team from the Urban Investment Department of Raipur Municipal Corporation in Zone 7 conducted an operation near Bharat Mata Chowk. In this area, a citizen had built two unauthorized shops on his approximately 1200 square feet private land without proper authorization. The action involved dismantling the structures with the assistance of laborers.
Further details revealed that the concerned citizen had previously received a notice under the Municipal Corporation Act. Despite this, the two shops were not removed, prompting the municipal corporation to take action based on public complaints received.
