Chhattisgarh: BJP officials at Chhattisgarh plan to hold a 20-day long nationwide event-‘Seva aur Samarpan Abhiyan’ to mark the 71st birthday of PM Narendra Modi on September 17. Former CM Raman Singh made the announcement at the BJP office in Integral Complex. 

The event includes blood donation camps, a sapling plantation program and distribution of  3 lakh ration bags praising PM Modi’s Pradhan Mantri Ghareeb Kalyan Anna Yojana. The event would begin on September 17th and culminate on October 7, the day when Narendra Modi took oath as the CM of Gujarat thus completing 20 years of public service.  The party has also announced to send 11 lakh postcards from the state to PM  congratulating him for his efforts.  

The party would also organize programs on party ideologue Deendayal Upadhyaya anniversary on September 25 and Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary on October 2 when promotional events for khadi will be held by party workers.

 Former CM Singh directed Gen Secretary Bhupendra Savani and Former Minister Lata Usendi to take charge of the events. As a part of the celebrations, the state BJP council decides to motivate individuals to download the NaMo app. The Yuva Morcha of the state is directed to take charge of installing the app in around 5 lakh mobile devices. It is also reported that the State party in charge and National Co-organization General Secretary Shivprakash would address the Bharat Darshan program organized by Yuva Morcha.
