As the Rajasthan Royals (RR) take on five-time defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Wankhede stadium on Sunday, the importance of this game cannot be overstated. In what constitutes the last of the four league games that RR have scheduled this year, this match is one match away from getting RR the coveted fourth place in the IPL 2026 table.
A win would get RR through to the playoffs, while a loss would put an end to the RR dream of making it through to the knock-out stages of this year’s edition of IPL. Parag missed the last two matches because of a nagging injury to his hamstring.
