Chattogram, Bangladesh: The first match of the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh is being played in Chattogram. The third day’s play is over. India scored 404 runs in the first innings. In response, the Bangladesh team was reduced to 150 runs. India declared the second innings by scoring 258 runs and set a target of 513 runs in front of Bangladesh. In response, Bangladesh scored 42 runs without losing any wickets. India has a lead of 471 runs and needs 10 wickets to win. There are two days of play left in the match.
Batting first after winning the toss, India scored 404 runs. Pujara was dismissed for 90, Shreyas Iyer for 86, and Ravichandran Ashwin for 58. Pant and Kuldeep also made good contributions. Taijul Islam and Mehdi Hasan Miraj took four wickets each for Bangladesh. In response, the Bangladesh team was able to score only 150 runs.
