India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is in talks with seven Indian Premier League (IPL) teams, reportedly Chennai Super Kings (CSK), as reports suggest a bidding war with IPL is likely to ensnare him in the next season.

Sahil Malhotra, a popular sports journalist, reported that Hardik Pandya has seen the interest coming in from up to seven IPL franchises. The other team, other than Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), is being eyed by Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), it is claimed.

With Hardik hitting the right balance with both the bat and the ball, the race for the ‘all-rounder’ role could soon be even fiercer, with CSK and KKR being the potential rivals, the report said.

Hardik is still one of the most valuable players in the IPL thanks to his all-round abilities, finishing skills and leadership. Over the years, he has helped numerous title campaigns, including some that have won titles.

However, the figure has not officially been confirmed by Hardik Pandya or any of the IPL teams and fans are already buzzing about the prospect with enthusiasm for the upcoming transfer windows.

If the reports are true, then the future of Hardik is likely to be a big talking point when the next IPL season begins.
