Hangzhou: India achieved a perfect ten against Pakistan as the Men in Blue crushed the Green Army 10-2 in the Pool A decider at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou.

India started the match on a dominant note and took the lead in the first minute through a field goal from Dilpreet Singh. India doubled their lead in the second quarter through a penalty corner conversion by Harmanpreet Singh.

India continued to press in the third quarter and scored three more goals to take a commanding 5-0 lead. Harmanpreet Singh scored two more goals, while Shivendra Singh also got on the scoresheet.

Pakistan finally managed to break the deadlock in the fourth quarter through a field goal from Arshad Ali. However, India responded immediately with two more goals to seal a comprehensive victory.

Harmanpreet Singh was the star of the show for India, scoring four goals. He was also named the Player of the Match.

The victory was a significant one for India, as it was their biggest ever win against Pakistan in the Asian Games. It was also a perfect way for India to finish the Pool A stage of the tournament.

India will now face South Korea in the semifinals, while Pakistan will play Malaysia.
