Chennai: Tamil actor Vijay is holding his first political rally on October 27 months after announcing his political party, Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK). The actor, who is at the top of his career after churning out some of the highest-grossing films, announced his political plunge in February this year. Several celebrities wished him good luck ahead of his maiden conference.
The first state conference of actor Vijay’s Tamil Nadu Victory Kazhagam will be held today at V.Salai next to Vikkiravandi in Villupuram district. The conference is spread over an area of about 85 acres. It is said that seats have been arranged for a total of 80 thousand people. However, around 3 lakh volunteers are expected to be there.
Thalapathy Vijay’s First Speech
It is said that today’s conference (TVK Conference) will start around 4 pm. TVK President Vijay is going to hoist the party’s flag on the 100 feet high pole near the conference platform. After that, it is said that actor Vijay will start his speech at 6 pm. He is expected to announce the party’s policy in this speech. Apart from that, he is also expected to convey the party’s future planning and political strategy in his speech.
