Mahakumbh: A group of 10 countries will visit the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on Thursday. A total of 21 foreign guests will take a dip in the Sangam. After which these guests will be given an aerial tour of the fair area. After taking a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam at 8 am on Thursday, they will take an aerial tour at 9.30 am.
Foreign guests are also participating in the Mahakumbh Mela with enthusiasm. There is a huge crowd of devotees in the Maha Kumbh. Devotees are coming in large numbers not only from the country but also from abroad. Lauren Powell Jobs, wife of Apple co-founder late Steve Jobs, is also included in this. She will get to know Sanatan very closely in the Mahakumbh.
Lauren has also received a new name and her gotra from her guru Swami Kailashanand Giri, the Peethadheeshwar of Niranjani Akhara. Her Sanatani name is Kamala. She has received Achyuta gotra. Lauren will be in India for nine days and during this time she will stay in the camp of her guru Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanandgiri in Maha Kumbh.
Aerospace Engineer Grabbing Eyes At Mahakumbh
Among the many saints, sages and religious leaders attending this spiritual gathering, one figure has captured the attention of visitors and media alike – a former aerospace engineer from IIT Bombay, now known as ‘IIT Baba.’
The man behind this intriguing persona is Abhey Singh, a Haryana native who traded his scientific pursuits for a life devoted to spirituality. Often referred to as ‘Engineer Baba’ by those attending the Kumbh, Mr Singh has a unique story that stands out in a sea of spiritual narratives.
Mr Singh shared his unconventional journey, saying he left the path of science for spirituality. He claimed to have completed his aerospace engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. He added that he lived in Mumbai for four years before shifting his focus to photography and the arts, even drawing parallels with the film ‘3 Idiots.’
