Bhopal: Today is the fifth day of the budget session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly (MP Assembly Budget Session 2024). Vote on Account will be discussed in the House today. Finance Minister Jagdish Deora presented the Vote on Account on Monday. Uday Pratab Singh has become the most important minister in the budget. After this, Finance Minister is at second place and Panchayat Minister is at third place.
Minister Rao Uday Pratap Singh has got the highest budget. School education has received a budget of Rs 13013.96 crore. 8.95 percent of the total budget has been given to the Education Department.
Finance Minister Jagdish Deora has got the second budget. The Finance Department has received a budget of Rs 11970.38 crore. 8.23 percent of the total budget has been given to the Finance Department. Panchayat Minister Prahlad Patel has got a budget of Rs 10540 crore. Which is 7.25 percent of the total budget.
Agriculture Minister Aidal Singh Kansana has received a budget of Rs 9593.88 crore. This is 6.60 percent of the total budget. Women and Child Department has received a budget of Rs 9438.22 crore. Minister Nirmala Bhuria has got 6.49 percent share of the total budget.
Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar has received a budget of Rs 7963.22 crore. 5.48 percent share of the budget has been given to the Energy Department. Health Minister Rajendra Shukla has received a budget of Rs 7694.41 crore. The Health Department has received 5.29 percent of the total budget.
Earlier on Monday, Finance Minister Jagdish Deora presented the Vote on Account for the financial year 2024-25 in the Assembly. Under Article 206 ( 1 ) of the Constitution, new services and new items/heads of expenditure are not included in the items of continuing expenditure. The purpose of the Vote on Account is to continue the implementation of the Government until the final supply is approved. New proposals related to taxation and new items of expenditure are not included.
