Though states like West Bengal and Maharashtra have a larger coverage in terms of figures, MP is way ahead of these states with about two-third of its population fully vaccinated.

He further announced the organization of a mega vaccination drive on December 8, 15 and 22 to fulfill the state govt’s commitment to achieving 100% vaccination in the state by year end.” Delighted to inform you that we have succeeded in administering more than 9 Crore doses of #COVID19 vaccination in the state. My heartfelt gratitude to health workers, social workers, voluntary organizations, members of CMG, & all those actively engaged in achieving this milestone, the tweet read.”

The three -prolonged ‘ public participation’ model includes spreading awareness about Covid-19 and vaccination over television, radio and social media. Hitting the streets and personally asking people to get the jab, maintain distance and adhere to Covid protocol. And, involving social groups, political parties, civil society organisations and religious bodies to appeal to the public.
