Dewas: Tragedy struck in Madhya Pradesh’s Dewas district during the early hours of Wednesday, 24 May, as a devastating collision occurred between a dumper and a loading auto-rickshaw, resulting in the loss of four lives and leaving two individuals critically injured. The incident took place at approximately 4 am on the Indore-Bhopal bypass in Dewas.

The victims have been identified as Dharmendra, a resident of Shankargarh in Dewas, and Rani, along with her two young children, Hrithik (2) and Anshul (3), hailing from Sagar district. Meanwhile, Rani’s husband, Sagar, and the auto-rickshaw driver Bablu were severely injured. They have been taken to the Dewas district hospital for treatment.

The authorities are now investigating this matter and also checking the nearby areas. The authorities have also reported that they’ll take corrective measures. This will be done to ensure such incidents can be prevented in the future.
