Pune: The body of a person has been found decomposed in the area along the Pune Nashik highway, raising suspicions of foul play in their death. According to reports, the victim was identified as Sourabh Nandlal Patil, who worked as a software engineer at an IT company located in Hinjewadi. The circumstances surrounding this incident remain unclear, leading the Khed police to file a First Information Report (FIR) against a suspect.
Sourabh Patil had been reported missing since July 28, causing concern for his well-being. The situation took a turn when his lifeless body was discovered in the Khed Ghat region, triggering speculations. Sandip Sonawane, who is related to Sourabh Patil, had filed a missing person complaint with the Hinjewadi police station without knowing about the fate that awaited him. The shocking discovery took place in a field within the jurisdiction of the forest department in the Sandbhorwadi area along the Pune Nashik highway. API Birudev Kabugade lodged a complaint on behalf of the government.
Sourabh Patil’s professional connections link him to an IT company in Hinjewadi, making his disappearance more puzzling. Despite efforts made by his family members to locate him, they were unsuccessful.
His motorcycle was discovered in the Holewadi area of Khed taluka, and the key was found resting on the railing of a well. With these indications, no one knew where Sourabh was, until the discovery of his decomposed body in a field under the supervision of the forest department in the older part of Khed.
