Faridabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 24 inaugurated a in Faridabad that is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including a centralised fully-automated laboratory, in what will be a major boost to healthcare infrastructure in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Haryna Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar were also present on the occasion.
The state of the art hospital spreads across 130 acres and has a dedicated seven-storey research block and has been constructed over a period of six years under the Mata Amritanandmayi Math. Out of the 130 acres, 36 sq feet would be the total built-up area, with a 14-storey tower housing key medical facilities.
The hospital is go to operational in a phased manner in five years beginning with 500 beds. Once fully functional this hospital with 81 specialities will be Asia’s largest hospital according to sources.
