NOIDA: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a 400-bed government hospital on Saturday. It was a specially made facility in Noida for COVID-19 patients. It is going to be the largest hospital of Uttar Pradesh for COVID-19 treatment.
The hospital is located in Sector 39 of Noida city. As per officials, it has come up in association with the Tata Trusts and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. It is equipped with the diagnostic laboratory and also a blood bank.
CM Adityanath also checked the facilities in the hospital. According to the sources, it is expected to start the services from Sunday with 200 beds initially and will have 400 beds with time.
The staff includes 22 doctors, 46 nurses and 33 health workers. The hospital has 8 floors in total and it eventually becomes the main government hospital in the city. It is one of the biggest public health care transformations the city has ever seen and proved to be a great one.
On the other hand, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wrote a letter to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday and accused his administration for managing news and advertising amid increasing number of cases of COVID-19 infection in the state.
Opening of this facility will be a great step in controlling the cases of coronavirus in the state and provide a great help in this pandemic time.
