Tamil Nadu: After the assembly election results were declared on May 2, DMK won in Tamil Nadu. Today, MK Stalin took oath as the chief minister of the state. Soon after he got hold of the CM office, he started fulfilling promises that his party head announced before the elections. From providing free bus services to women of the state to bringing down Aavin milk price by Rs 3, he has announced it all.
His party will also provide Rs 4000 as covid relief aid to rice ration card holders, of whose Rs 2000 would be given instantly. “To implement that, the Chief Minister has signed the order to provide the first installment of Rs 2,000 in May itself at Rs 4,153.69 crore, covering 2,07,67,000 ration card holders”, the DMK authorities said.
Not only this, but the CM also has a plan to form a “Chief minister in your constituency” scheme which will be led by an IAS officer to address the redressal issues of people in each constituency within 100 days of him becoming the CM of the state. It seems that the CM is in the form to fulfill all the promises that were made by his party ahead of the elections.
