NEW DELHI: The CBI on Monday issued fresh summons to Delhi Deputy chief Manish Sisodia in connection to the questioning related to excise policy scam. He will now have to visit the CBI office on February 26.

Sisodia had earlier on Sunday requested the federal agency to reschedule his summon as he was entitled to fulfil his responsinilites for the upcoming budget on priority. The new summons by CBI came a day after it deferred the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader’s questioning.

The senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader told a press conference that he has been called for questioning on February 26 and will appear before the probe agency.

Sisodia on Sunday held a stakeholder meeting with the representatives of various market associations. The meeting was aimed meeting at include the suggestions of the stakeholders in the budget-making process so that it can be shaped as per their requirements.
