New Delhi: Rounding up the Lok Sabha elections, the sixth phase of polling will commence on Saturday, deciding the electoral battle between Prime Minister Narendra Modi of BJP and Congress’s Rahul Gandhi. Notably, on Thursday, Gandhi took a ride in one of the carriages of the Delhi Metro and communicated with passengers. He posted pictures of the journey on social media platform X, and the message he used while posting the pictures was “Metro travel with Delhiites. Met fellow passengers and enquired about their well-being – I am glad that our idea of establishing a metro in Delhi has become so much beneficial for traveling.”
India’s political and spiritual leader is urging people to vote for the party and its candidate, Kanhaiya Kumar, in Delhi, and the polling is all set to take place on 6. The polling results will be declared on June 4. There is no denying the significance of the election. In a video message on Thursday, Gandhi said, “This election is to save the country’s democracy and Constitution.” Various themes, such as unemployment, inflation, and even actions that seek to threaten some constitutional provisions, are at the center of this election. This fight requires you to do something and take action, and you should do that. ”
He appealed to every eligible voter in Delhi to vote for Congress /INDIA bloc alliance candidates. “Every single vote of yours will give employment to a needy youth, contain prices as inflation, will ensure safety and respect to young women and will construct an impartial and equal India towards a golden future,” Gandhi said as he underscored the main issues that the Congress party has been focusing when campaigning.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge spoke with the reporters regarding the party’s campaign and the INDIA bloc alliance for Lok Sabha elections. He argued that he saw signs of the shift of power as the results were released.
