Jharkhand Crime Investigation Department has widened its probe into the irregularities over the state exams conducted in the recent days, arresting the wife and brother of former TSR Data Processing Private Limited marketing manager Abhay Tiwari. The two are being questioned over their alleged links to the examination fraud case and possible benefit from the recruitment process.
As per reports, Tiwari is one of the key accused in the case and is currently in judicial custody. The latest arrest comes as the state has been facing growing scrutiny over the alleged manipulation in the recruitment exams. Investigators are examining whether Tiwari’s relatives obtained government jobs through examinations that may have been compromised or whether their selections were connected to alleged networks under investigation
. His role has emerged as a major focus for the CID, as they allege he worked as a marketing manager and authorized representative of TDPL while also clearing several competitive examinations himself. In its investigation, the agency has found that he qualified in multiple JSSC and JPSC examinations apart from several other competitive tests.
His examination record is now being examined alongside his alleged role in the recruitment racket. DDPL, on the ongoing investigation, is also facing intense scrutiny. The agency, which was associated with the conducting of 14 JPSC civil service examination, is being questioned over its earlier record and its involvement in other recruitment examinations.
