India has strongly denounced the recent airstrike by Pakistan on Afghanistan as a “blatant act of aggression,” stating that such operations cease to be “good faith” gestures to change the situation and are very harmful to the peace and stability of the region.
India in a line saying Afghan government has condemned the use of drones by Islamabad in the Afghan territory in the night of Sunday and Monday, condemned Islamabad. While Pakistan had stated that the operation targeted terrorist hideouts, Afghan authorities had claimed the attacks have targeted civilian areas, leaving behind killers, including women and children.

The Pakistani authorities, however, claimed that 29 militants who were connected to their recent attack in Karachi were killed in the operation. Afghanistan has denied several times that it is using its soil for anti-Pakistan militants before Pakistan.
India condemned the operation saying, “It is a blatant act of aggression by Pakistan against the sovereignty of Afghanistan and a direct threat to peace and stability in the region, which demonstrates that Pakistan has persistently resorted to violent acts beyond the Afghanistan borders as an attempt to deflect the compromitement of he domestic and security imperfections.
India also condoled the deaths of those killed in the strikes and prayed for a quick recovery of those who suffered injuries. The declaration reiterated the mutual support and cooperation of New Delhi for Afghanistan’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
The current military strike is among the deadliest actions by Pakistan’s army forces in recent months and the relations between Islamabad and Kabul have grown bad during the past few months. The bilateral relations between the two abled-error have been pragmatic since the Taliban took control in Afghanistan in 2021, as both sides have repeatedly had clashes and accused each other of cross-border militancy.
As with any such conflict, the event is likely to further deepen the security situation in the region as efforts reach on both sides to calm down the tensions.
